The Joinery shop celebrates 20 years trading during 2019 and this important milestone has been celebrated with a new brand and corporate identity. Reflecting on the very personal and dedicated service offered by the business, the new bird of prey logo, is intended to represent the accuracy, beauty and creativity that is inherent in all the work created by the team.
As a well established Isle of Wight business that has worked with architects on numerous one-off house projects on the island but also has client in the volume house and commercial sectors on and off the Island. The Joinery Shop presents a flexible and bespoke solution to a wide range of clients who wish to work with wood. The team have also worked on a wide range of heritage renovation projects which reflects the notable fact that the Island has more manor houses and grand lodges than any other county in England.
Richard Basford, proprietor said:
"It's not easy to re-brand a business that has looked the same for 20 years and largely gained all its business by word of mouth recommendation, however, times are changing and embracing the new digital world is important to ensure we are able to remain relevant for another 20 years. Traditional skills and understanding of wood is part of our DNA with many of the team having worked for much of their working life at the shop so we want to impart these skills to our new apprentices and communicate to a new type of customer and so it is crucial we speak to them using the latest social media tools they understand. We also have plans for new equipment and new product lines to ensure we are price competitive in all the sectors we have customers. It's an exciting moment for the business and we would love your thoughts"
A new website has been created and links to new Facebook and Instagram accounts will ensure those interested will receive a constant stream of information and photographs of new work created by the team.
